My name is Alyssa Koski. I am an Illustrator, Animator, and Entrepreneur. I specialize in whimsical and narrative based illustration, following the themes of adventure, magic, and belief in the impossible. I work mostly on children’s book illustrations, graphic novels, and short film 2-D animation but also spend a lot of my time organizing local events, activities, and pop-ups in my hometown Okotoks. My work almost always has an upbeat and carefree nature, and I also try to support issues that are important to me in my work: self-confidence, respect for the environment, the power of imagination, and thirst for knowledge. I graduated from the Alberta College of Art + Design (now Alberta University of the Arts) in Calgary, Alberta with a major in Character Design.
